Fuel Filters

A fuel filter is a filter element used in internal combustion engines to purify fuel before it enters sensitive parts of the engine such as injectors, valves, pistons, and cylinders.

The fuel filter consists of several layers of different materials such as cloth, paper, fiberglass, stainless steel and others. The filter is installed on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the fuel pump or between the fuel pump and the engine.

The fuel filter works by using these different layers to filter out impurities, sediment, fine particles and water in the fuel, which may damage sensitive components in the engine, causing engine damage or inefficiency.

In general, it is recommended to change the fuel filter periodically according to the manufacturer's recommendations, in order to maintain engine efficiency and ensure a longer engine life.
